Veteran's Memorial Park & Admiral Mason Park in Downtown Pensacola

Honor our Military this Memorial Day~
It's a great weekend to visit the Veteran's Memorial Park to pay respect to our military service members.

On this sacred day we salute more than 1 million veterans that reside and serve in our area. Our local military bases include service members from all branches of the service who serve or have served at NAS Pensacola, NAS Whiting Field, Corry Station, Hurlburt Field AFB and Eglin AFB.

The Veteran's Memorial Park in Downtown Pensacola has been a permanent fixture since 1992. The park sits on over 5 acres overlooking Pensacola Bay off Bayfront Pkwy and includes several memorials including the famous Wall South Memorial which honor our military service members. The park has over a dozen memorials including those dedicated to WWI, WWII, WWII Submarine Lifesaving League, the Korean Conflict, Childrens of Vietnam Veterans memorial, a Vietnam helicopter, and many more!~

There will be a special Memorial Day Ceremony held this Sunday, May 27th, at 1:30pm at Veterans Memorial Park. They will also be breaking ground on the new Marine Corps Aviation Tower that is going to be added to the Veteran's Memorial Park.

Our in house veteran, Bob Supinger, will be at the Ceremony at 1:30pm, wearing a Vietnam Veteran Hat and a Realty Masters badge. Seek him out with your military and housing questions.

Admiral Mason Park in downtown Pensacola~ Plenty of seating and nice park to enjoy a picnic
Admiral Mason Park in downtown Pensacola

In 2011, an additional 2.5 acre park dubbed the Admiral Mason Park was added nearby.  Once a flat recreation area, the park was given a multi-million dollar makeover including a lake, fountain, new walkways, and plenty of seating. The park was named after Admiral Charles Perry Mason who served as Pensacola's mayor in the 1950's and 1960's.

In addition to being a nice place to have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful weather and views of Pensacola Bay, these two parks double as a place to pay homage to those who have served!
