Many locals adore living and traveling on Scenic Hwy in East Pensacola, an 11 mile scenic route along Pensacola Bay from Southeast Pensacola to Hwy 90 near Pace.  Scenic Hwy is known for beautiful magnolia and moss covered oak trees, waterfront views, and a huge variety in elevation along the route.

While many waterfront areas along Scenic Hwy are beach front, the Scenic Hwy Bluffs offer unique views overlooking Pensacola Bay from one of the highest elevations in Pensacola.

There aren't many communities along the Eastern border of Scenic Hwy, which makes waterfront homes and townhomes in this area of Pensacola a rare commodity.

Nestled along Scenic Hwy near Olive Rd is one of our favorite waterfront communities in Northeast Pensacola:  The Cove of San de Loro.

The Cove of San de Loro is located at 8680 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, FL, 32514.  A smaller community with only 17 town homes located in six buildings, all situated directly on Pensacola Bay.

The majority of the town homes at the Cove of San de Loro were built between 1981 and 1986.  The 2-4 bedroom townhouses range from 1,700 to 2,600 square feet with 2 car garages.  The yards are very small as the townhouses sit right on Pensacola Bay.

There is an active homeowners association at the Cove of San de Loro which is managed by Realty Masters.  The association requires homeowners to abide by certain rules and regulations and pay yearly association dues to help upkeep the subdivision.

Before leasing or purchasing a home in any community with a homeowners association, you should read the neighborhood covenants and restrictions.

Cove of San de Loro townhomes are rarely available for rent, as most of the units are owner occupied.  Townhomes at the Cove of San de Loro have rented in the last few years between $1350 and $1750 per month.

Waterfront Townhomes for Sale
Because this is a smaller community, townhomes in this Pensacola neighborhood do not usually sit on the market long.  In the last two years, townhomes in Cove of San de Loro have sold between $202,000 and $325,000.  +Pam Keen Brantley currently has a 3/2 townhome listed for sale in Cove of San de Loro currently listed for only $210,000.  Due to the few number of affordable, waterfront town homes available on Scenic Hwy, this condo shouldn't sit on the market long.
