Safety Message from Escambia County Sheriff's Office
David Morgan, Sheriff, releases a safety statement for women based on recent events.
There have been two sexual assault attempts in the Pensacola area this past week. Because of this, the sheriff's office is warning all individuals to be aware and to be careful.
One woman was approached at a gas station while another was out running. Make sure to lock your vehicles, even when away from them for only a short time like at the gas station. Also, the sheriff recommends that you exercise in pairs as that reduces your risk.
