A question asked by many after a long day at work or school. Cable television is a great way to unwind and take your mind away from the stresses and troubles of daily routines. It can be a learning tool, a way to find laughter and joy, and a great way to relate to and share experiences with co-workers and friends.
Here in Pensacola and the surrounding areas there are several choices to pick from when deciding on a cable provider. Not only does Pensacola offer a local cable company, Cox Communications in Escambia county, Mediacom Cable in Santa Rosa county,  but also satellite providers such as DIRECTV and Dish Network, and now Apple T.V., and U-Verse by AT&T.

When making a decision on which service is right for you and your family, there are several things to keep in mind and will need to be researched:

 ·         Are there any restrictions to installing a satellite dish on the property you are renting or buying? Does the HOA restrict the placement of the dish? Does the management company require pre-approval prior to installing a dish?

  • ·         Will there be a contract for service? If so, how long is the commitment for? Will it be transferable if you have to leave prior to the fulfillment of the contract time.
  • ·         What type of programming package are you most interested in? Some cable providers provide more or less channels than others. Sports packages, pay-per-view options, and premium channels are a few examples of the choices you have. 

  • What type of equipment will be needed?
  •  What is the price compared to the other choices available?

 With this many choices of cable providers in Pensacola, Pace, and Milton and a bit of research and information gathering most will find the right fit and be enjoying the nightly broadcasts that provide a great amount of entertainment.
Needless to say, Pensacola is a great city to live in and visit. It offers a wide range of choices for housing to buy and/or rent; from beautiful white sandy beaches to pristine woodland settings in the country. Pensacola offers housing price ranges from very affordable up to the millions of dollars. With a growing university and the large military presence, Pensacola is an investor’s paradise.
