UWF's brand new College of Business
Excitement lingers as the building's second semester begins.
While there are many things to do in Pensacola, Florida, some of you come here to get your education. There are two colleges here in Pensacola, Pensacola State and the University of West Florida.
If you’re looking for a four-year university
with the feeling of home then West Florida is the place for you. Located at 11000 University Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32514, it is only twenty minutes from the beach and conveniently
has many apartment complexes and restaurants in the surrounding area.
Recently UWF added the College of Business building which hosts majors such as:
The COB’s state of the art design adds for a complete college experience. It is located within the beautiful scenery of the campus next to the new engineering building.
Within the building, students are
able to interact with their professors as well as their academic advisers whose
new offices are located on the second floor of the building. This adds for ease
of access when a student needs it.
Other cool features in the building are the Outtakes Café and the Seattle’s Best coffee shop also located on the second floor where students are able to have a quick study break.
The first floor consists of three classrooms that have the new technology to enhance a student’s learning experience. The second and third floors host more offices as well as study rooms where students may get the privacy they need in order to study for that big test.
Business students love having the
new facilities and are very pleased to have a place to call their own. Kristen
Ramsdell, who is a student of UWF says, “I love the new College of Business
building! It makes me feel professional and reminds me of what us students work
hard for.”
