Bicycling & Cycling Trails in Pensacola
Great resource to find the best places to ride your bike in Pensacola.
With the transition from winter to spring in full force, we're starting to enjoy comfortable weekends with abundant sunshine and temperatures in the 60's!
As you may know, Pensacola is not very amenable to bicycles as we have narrow bike lanes. Many roads were not constructed with bikers in mind.
Great news though~ I found this awesome website that outlines some of the Pensacola area's best cycling trails and the best places to ride your bike in Pensacola. Check it out: http://www.mapmyride.com/us/pensacola-fl/
My favorite place to ride my bicycle is at University of West Florida! On Sundays, you can ride on the road as most of the campus is shut down. They also have several nature biking trails at the University. Due to the number of hills at the UWF campus, this is a slightly more challenging course!
Many beginners find the best place to ride is at Pensacola Beach as Pensacola Beach offers beautiful scenery, a wide bike path, and plenty of flat terrain to enjoy.
