The Hitzman- Optimist Park is a favorite park among Northeast Pensacola area parents and children.  

The Optimist Park is located at approximately 3221 Langley Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504 near the intersections of Langley Ave and Hibiscus Ave close to the Pensacola International Airport and Pensacola State College.

This massive 16 acre park is sure to please your children with a larger playground for older children and a tot lot for younger children.  The Hitzman Optimist Park includes:

Covered Picnic Areas at Optimist Park~ 

• 2 Playground areas
• Swing sets
• Monkey Bars
• Several slides
• Frisbee disc golf course 
• Fenced baseball or kickball diamond with bleachers
• Built in charcoal grills 
• Covered and open air picnic areas
