Dog Beaches open on Perdido Key Beach!

Dog Beaches open on Perdido Key, FL! Pet lovers celebrate the arrival of dog park on Perdido Key. Great news: After closing the Perdido Key Gulf Dog Beach in 2013, there is now one public dog beach in Perdido Key located at: River Road Park, 14484 River Road, Perdido Key, FL 32507 Dogs are not allowed on the Gulf Beaches in Perdido Key. The dog beaches are still open on Pensacola Beach as well as Perdido Key River Road Park. Rules for the dog beaches are posted on site. Pets must be leashed and picked up after. The dog beaches are open 6 am to 10 am May 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013 with hours sunrise to 10 am between November 1, 2013- and April 30, 2014. Defining Pensacola City Limits Which jurisdiction does your home fall under? The City limits in Pensacola encompasses the majority of Pensacola zip codes 32501, 32502, 32503, and 32504. For a more detailed city limit search, visit the City of Pensacola's GIS map system . You can also determine if a home is determine the taxing authority by searching the property address in the Escambia County Property Appraisers website here. There are two jurisdictions in Pensacola. the City of Pensacola Escambia County Each its own entity, these powers have the ability to tax as well as their own utility and police departments. Pensacola, FL area & Sinkholes~

Here's the Scoop on Florida Sinkholes Northwest Florida is much less susceptible to sinkholes according to the DEP. Last week, the agents at Realty Masters were glued to the news stations covering the unfortunate incident in South Florida with the sinkhole that swallowed a man sleeping in his bed. This incident occurred in Southern Florida near Tampa and got us thinking so we did some research. Pensacola Dog Beaches to open March 15, 2013! Pensacola area residents excited to share the beach with their pets. Dog Footprints in the sand at Pensacola Beach~ After much deliberation, the Santa Rosa Island Authority has approved a 6-month trial run to allow dogs on two areas of Pensacola Beach. Soon enough, our furry, four legged family members will be allowed to enjoy the Florida sunshine, white sand, and salt water along beautiful Pensacola Beach! This is a first, as pets have been strictly forbidden along the white sand beaches of Pensacola Beach.
